Craving something carb-loaded, but you’re not in Italy? Have no fear. If you’re in Amsterdam, you can grab literally the best Bolognese we have ever had anywhere in the world (and that includes Italy). We were so amazed by this dish, that we asked the owner how we were eating the best Bolognese pasta and we were sitting in Amsterdam. His answer, he only employs Italian immigrants in the kitchen.
The pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauce, slow cooked the way a good Bolognese should be, and the parmesan cheese, freshly grated. Simple ingredients, done to perfection.
We actually forgot the name of this restaurant. We spent nearly 30 minutes searching Google Maps at Street View to retrace our steps. Yes. It was that good. Anyway, the name of the restaurant is The Corner House. It is a restaurant/pub/hotel all in one.
